This site is an incomplete archive of YoHa's work with Mongrel.

Mongrel emerged out of the combined practices of Richard-Pierre-Davis, Mervin Jarman, Graham Harwood and Matsuko Yokokoji, somewhere at Artec, London 1995-1997. Richard Wright joined Mongrel in 2004 helping us form MediaShed. in 2006.

Mongrel was powered by the technical tinkering of Graham Harwood and Matsuko Yokokoji 1995-2008 with input from many people all over the world.

Including Matthew Fuller, Lisa Haskell, more names to come.

The Mongrel Network was an affiliation built up from our previous projects. It extended to include active participation from many marginal locations including local artists in Southend-on-sea, residents of the YMCA, townships in South Africa, rural communities in Jamaica, the Surinam community in Amsterdam.
